I've searched a bit but I can't find an answer to my question:

What plants can the chickens not eat from the garden?? I'm not talking about the vegetable, I'm talking the leaves .....

I just pulled up some beets & I know I can feed them those.... can I give the stems too?

and we'll have some jalapeno plants, broccoli, banana pepper plants.... can I just let the chickens in when we have harvested the veges & let them go to town ??

I know I'm probably being picky, but once I know, I'll know, and can be a safe mother hen to my girls ;)

Don't let them eat the leaves from any vegetable plants in the nightshade family (tomatoes, potatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, tomatillos, huckleberry - and more). They are toxic to chickens and to people. My guess is, if the leaves are toxic to people, don't let them eat it. You can google "Nightshade plants" to get a full list.

Jalepeno and Banana Peppers are both in the Nightshade family - and toxic.

I have fed my chickens the entire broccoli plant - which is edible. My chickens LOVE the broccoli flowers that bloom as it is going to seed.

Do not feed them potato peelings and not too much bread, which gives them the runs!.
They also love cooked pasta but be careful as it is loaded with carbs, which will make your hens fat.Chickens cannot eat raw potato, onion, and garlic.
Your chickens cant have to much acidic vegetables and fruit.
