The other day I went to TSC and bought some chicks. One of which was labeled as a California White. I've been trying to do some reading up on the CWs, and everything I'm seeing says they are white with a few black spots (as chicks yellow with black spots). The chick I got is yellow with no spots (her wings are white). All of the other chicks that were labeled as CW were also yellow with no spots on them.
So I'm wondering if maybe TSC possibly mislabeled them as CW and they are actually leghorns, or another breed? Just wanting opinions from other people who may know. The day that I went there were no leghorns, only the CW, wyandottes, blue rocks, smokey pearls, australorps, and they had a bin labeled as "yellow mix" but most were red and a few were yellow but I assumed they were maybe sexlinks and they didn't have any info about them other then yellow mix.
I know the pictures aren't the best, but I hope they are good enough that someone may be able to give suggestions on what she may be.
