Don't know if you consider it a wine.. But my absolute fav is Easly Wineries, Honeymoon Mead, $6.99, 2000, Light sweet , slight tart , with bold honey start and a lingering honeysuckle taste..
Oh and then their is there Mulled Cider... Best year would have to be 2001, $8.99, Sweet , nutty, warms your tummy, lovely clove and nutmeg flavor , full bodied, and down right decadent....

The only problem with Easleys is they dont keep this items long enough to get the same batch later ... They sell out every year.. The first time they had mead I bought a case went back for two straight years and no mead .. They finnaly got smart and started keeping a batch going..

I will be harvesting Muscadine grapes in the local park this year and trying to make at least 50 gallons of Muscadine wine this year. I will let yall know how that works out.

Yum strawberry wine. Brown County Vineyard in Brown County, IN makes (well used to) the best Strawberry Wine. Pour a little sprite or 7-up and that is a great spritzer on a hot day.

Also love most of the sweet whites at Adams County Vineyard in Gettysburg, PA. Yummy.

And no one can touch my dads home made blackberry wine... unfortunately it's priceless and I can't get it anymore. (He's alive, just gave up winemaking.)

English Chick... I'm with you on the champagne. Now that I don't drink often if I have a choice I always get a bottle of champagne. The sweeter the better for me, Asti works well.

PS If we've included Boones and Ripple, don't leave out Mad Dog in a brown paper bag... wait is that a wine or just a gross alcoholic beverage.
