I put our Serama hen in with the cockerel and he's super scared of her. She's just been ignoring him the entire time. She even put herself to bed while he's currently walking around in the yard chirping at me.

I think the people I got the rooster from may have had their entire flock on a heat lamp all the time even though they're feathered out and don't need it. Private isn't doing as well as I assumed he'd be.
At first I thought he had some issue going on so I gave him nutri-drench to perk him up a little so I could make a post here to figure it out but he's acting like he's cold.
He acts fine when he's in the house long enough to warm up but after I start moving him back outside to his coop, he puffs up again and stands on one foot shivering.
