I’m seeing quite a few people doing this. Would like personal opinions and experiences from you eggsperts on the subject of using shavings during lock down.
Pros I’ve heard of are humidity stays nice and high, easy to clean up, chicks dry well and eggs don’t knock around as much.
Lockdown is tomorrow and I’m trying to decide if I should try it.
The method is to soak shavings in hot water, squeeze out excess water and layer it on the bottom of your incubator.
Opinions?

Did you get any opinions? I'm curious, too!
