should I still drop the temp and raise the humidity like you did if the air cells are normal
With fresh eggs (showing little/normal air cells) that did not have to endure postal transportation, you will only drop the temperature and raise the humidity from day 18 onwards.
 
Today is day #18 for my first attempt at hatching using a Little Giant incubator. I have five eggs from my Black Austrolorp who lives with a Bantam Cochin rooster. I followed all the instructions and turned them 3x daily. I candled at day 14 but really didn't see anything except black masses. Temperature is set at 100 degrees and humidity is around 62%. I don't think there's an adjustment for humidity?
