Looking for pics of Blue Laced Barnevelders

I'm over the moon for my blue barnvelders! They are almost 8 weeks old now. This is the 4 of them along with some BYM chicks.

Here is my surprise cockerel, Cloudy. His blue is of the darker shade, and he has a lot of lacing. He's one of the more skittish of the 4. While he's curious and interested in what people are doing, he prefers not to be interacted with. He loves snacks and has figured out that humans = snacks, so he's warming up.

This is Misty. I think she's the prettiest. She has a solid red chest and A LOT of light - almost powder - blue coloration. I'm not sure if the photos really do her justice. Misty is fairly friendly. She likes to interact and tolerates being held.View attachment 3867458

This is Foggy. She looks similiar to Misty. They both look to be developing red or brownish heads. Foggy doesn't have quite as much light blue feathering, but she has a lot more patterning and she's also a little more skittish like Cloudy. This first pic is Misty (L) and Foggy (R).

And my favorite... is Hazy. I don't think she's the prettiest (yet) but she is a complete love! Her blue is more slate so it's less distinct and she doesn't have as much lacing as the others. Her head/neck look like it's going to be slate blue. She is so sweet and affectionate and has absolutely stolen both my heart and Hubs heart. She likes to sit in your lap and chit chat in the sweetest way.

I would love to see how your blue Barnies are doing @Jayteetee and @My Three Chicks
I really enjoyed this update. Thank you for sharing these pictures. Your babies look like they are thriving 😍
I think my little Odette looks similar to your Cloudy. First two pics are Odette at 12 weeks. She is very relaxed and calm.
The next pics are ‘Giraffe’ who has been extremely dominant since day 2 of his life. It was very obvious he was a boy so we drove back to the breeder to get another barnie hoping it would be a girl & we got lucky! One of each.

Oh my gosh, Odette & Giraffe are both SO cute. I especially like how Odette’s lacing pattern Is coming in, especially on along the top of her wing. It’s very distinct. I look forward to seeing all the birds with their adult feathers.

How is your Barnie flock doing? I’m in TN and hope to get some in the Spring.

They're doing well. They've all turned into gorgeous birds! Two of the 3 hens are laying.
