Lost our beautiful girl. Help?

Useing heat lamps will make your chickens less resistant to the weather and will make them sick. My winters here in Missouri get into -20f and I never used heat lamps, even with babies. If your worried about the cold insulation in your coop will be a better option with ventilation.
Coop is insulated and has ventilation. It doesn't hurt to use heat lamps if you know what you're doing. As I said; Everybody around us who owns chickens use heat lamps and those people have owned chickens for 20+ years.

I know a lot of people don't like to use heat lamps, but it's a preference. There is no wrong or right in choosing to use them. Well; unless you install it wrong and it starts a fire.

It can get twice as cold as that in Idaho. At -40F frostbite is really only preventable with a heater.

Can we see pictures of your coop and run?

I highly doubt it was worms that killed her.

What exactly do you feed your flock?

I think I have pictures in my bio,
<--- link should be under "My Coop"

We feed them 16% pellets, have done since we got them. They're about 3years old. We use the 16% on our Emu as well.

During summer they get greens and treats, like lettuce, tomato, broccoli, cucumber, etc. Treats are usually one of those mix bags with mealworms and different seeds. They don't get them daily of course. Maybe every 3 days or so?

Winter they pretty much get Pellets and scratch corn. They don't usually get as much greens. Now and again we would cook rice as a treat to warm them up too when it's extremely cold out, they love it.

I honestly can't see it being anything else, considering two of our other chickens are showing signs of weight loss and comb coloration.

Fatty liver disease can kill with no signs. That sounds like a lot of treats to me.
I'd recommend not feeding any treats and only feed chicken crumbled or pelleted feed.

I know people who give treats pretty much every day and they feed mealworms like it’s candy. I know it’s a 90% / 10% ratio with feed and treats.

I pretty much feed them that 10% of treats. I don’t give it to them everyday.

Greens are great to give in the summer, especially cucumber. Freezing them is great with 100F+ weather. Gives them a cool treat to peck at.

I can’t see it being fatty liver disease. Our other two hens are showing similar signs; our newest ones seem fine at the moment: just not laying eggs.

It’s so hard with chickens. 😞 I stress over the smallest thing so my stress level is currently high. 😔

If it is Fatty Liver disease, does it cause them to lose weight and other chickens to catch it at the same time?

The Valbazen dosage is only given once and again in 10-14 days to get the newly hatched worm eggs. It is not given for 3 days.
Turns out it wasn't Valbazen, sorry yesterday I was a mess.

It's a poultry De-wormer from an actual farm home. We went to tractor supply but they had nothing and over the road they have a place that sells a bunch of farming supplies for chickens, goats, horses, cows and all that.

It's apparently good stuff, so i'll see.
Aspen and Maggie seem to be doing fine at the moment. We'll be watching them close over the next couple of days.
