I am considering purchasing the Magicfly Incubator... Does anyone have any major issues/yays with the product?
 
They're decent, but I wouldn't reccomend it if you've never incubated eggs before. It has a lot of quirks, and the instruction manual is terrible. I would go with something easier like an NR or a Brinsea. And it won't fit 12 eggs. I couldn't even fit 8 of my large chicken eggs in the turner. I got mine for $65, and like Altona said, the price has risen and isn't worth it IMO.
How many eggs are you planning on hatching, and are they valuable? You'll have to do at least a couple test batches of eggs to get a feel for it first.
 
I have the Janoel 12 which I believe is the same incubator different names. I used it for my first hatching, and it was great, I loved it! It held the temp perfectly, and all my eggs hatched. I like that the eggs sit on their side as they would under a mama hen. It has a fan and turns the eggs automatically. All you have to do is add water when humidity gets too low.
I bought an incutherm thermometer/hygrometer and put that inside where I could see it without opening the lid.

Yeah, it's the same thing. I've heard it called several other things too, lol.
Mine worked perfectly the first couple times too. Then it started getting wonky, and had 2 major spikes the last time I used it. It can be good. It just takes a lot of monitoring and tinkering with. I don't have that time, so I just got a NR 360. I don't have to watch it at all, just add water every 5 days or so.

Would you recommend the NR 360 over the Magicfly?

This is indeed my first time and it was for that reason I thought the magicfly would be good! Apparently not.....
I will be hatching quail. ($18 for 18 eggs)
 
My primary issue is that because it is my first time, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg for an incubator... but I also don't want one that is crappy..... What is a good in between?
