Hi -- There is no cost to the public for the show -- and there will be a lot of breeders selling , so good possibility you'll find what your looking for or at least find someone to direct you to a breeder . Hope this helps ~~~ Tammy
 
Would be interested if you find any ameraucana breeders up here. Would love if someone else has lines to complement what I have. Especially if I don't have to ship.. post pics of your finds please

there are 341 birds entered and 31 of them are silkies, huge class only 2nd to old english. a few uncommon breeds are entered mostly by jrs, marans, brabater(sp?), la fleche.
I'm ready, birds are bathed, just last minute prepping. need to finish packing stuff.
I'm not bringing anything to sell.

do you know if they are true ameraucana? the only shows I have been to up here had ee's....all labeled as ameraucana. I wish I could go but dh works weekends.

they have to be true to be qualify or they will DQ. if they are the birds that showed last yr, they are true.

I did know someone that got some from Gary Ramey....not sure if that's the same person....anyway, pics would be awesome,,,,it anyone going to take any?
 
Hey there, Mad Scientist - where in Maine are you? If we have no luck at the show, we would be willing to travel to pick them up when ready....We don't currently have the ability to take little chicks that need heat, etc., so we would need to wait until they no longer need it. So, if you still end up with some and we are unable to get any, I would love to be in touch. Send me a message here and I can reply. Thanks!!!
