Making friends with a goose?

I keep popping by to see how things are going with the goose. Wonder if any adoptions took place yet? Would love to hear a progress report.

I know it's such a let down when someone posts a great story and then doesn't come back with an up date or follow up. I hope we hear something soon.

There is a lonely goose that has been sitting outside my work's HR dept window for (what I have been told) years during this season. When I come into work, I watch him/her slowly waddle up to the big window and he/she just sits there all day and watches. I'm worried that their partner has passed away and they are lonely. I've only been working here since last October but the majority of my previous jobs have been working in Humane Societies/Vet clinics/Doggie daycares. I took a break from that world but that world never takes a break from me!

I'm going to take the above information and attempt to befriend this goose. I have been spending my first break with him/her. I sit about ten feet away and just talk to him. When I come in and out of the building I make sure to say hello and ask how they're doing. He responds to my voice with body language that isn't threatening at all. I think and hope we may be friends faster than I expect!

I will keep you all updated and send pics when I am able.
