Oops! Thank you sm!Ooops @Noraaaaa I think we responded at the same time! I’ll take egg #3 instead of #7!
I am so excited for you!! Can you tell us more about the eggs - do you know what colors the parents were? Did you get them local or were they shipped? Have you incubated silkies before? This is just so exciting!!!Hey y'all! #2,4,5,and 6 don't have names so if anyone has suggestions, let me know!
I decided to let y'all name the eggs instead of me naming a few so y'all name away!!
The colors of the parents were (I THINK) white, blue, buff, black, and partridge, although I can't be sure. These eggs were shipped in. I have never incubated before. In fact, I have never had chickens before! I am so excited also!I am so excited for you!! Can you tell us more about the eggs - do you know what colors the parents were? You won’t be able to see any development from candling until at least 72 hours from when you put them in the incubator. For example, if you put them in the incubator on Sunday Morning at 9 am, then the very earliest you may see something would be Wednesday morning, however I usually wait an extra 12 hours. So in this scenario I would candle them on Wednesday night. And even then, you may not see anything.Thank you! I think I am going to candle them soon! Thing is...
