Hello everyone!
I would like to introduce my backyard family to all of you! I have 8 hens 5 ducks and one cat, also planning to make my family bigger!
I will start from the most sweet cat on earth, my cat Pixel. He is almost 6 years old. Back when i got him he was so tiny, I could hold him in one hand and he was the weakest kitten. Today he is so big that I can barely hold him in my both hands. He looooooooooooves chin scratches and some nice belly rubs (yes, like a dog he loves them lol) My ducks often like to attack him, but he clearly doesn't cares. I can call him my soul mate, but anyways here are some of his pics!
Next are my fluffy ducks. I got them when they were 3 weeks old and they were 5 tiny fluff balls. Today they are 5 duck teenagers, and bullies of my backyard. They attack my cat when he gets to close and chickens when they even look at them (but it's not agressive). I have 3 swedish ducks and 2 mallard drakes. The biggest duck is called Betty, but she is also the most shy and skittish of all animals I have, but when it comes to protecting her flock she is total warrior (also realy loud warrior). Her total oposite is Rachel a beautifull swedish duck. She isn't afraid of anything like a lion or something lol. She is pretty quiet and calm but if you try to pet her, she is like: NOPE. Last swedish duck that i were pretty sure was a drake is Lil duck (before it was Lil guy) she is small, but realy strong and never gives up. She wants to eat, she won't care about other ducks trying to eat, she has to eat first. My total favourite mallard drake Joker. He prefers me over other ducks, even tho they all love him. I often sit next to their big water bowl and he is just chill cleaning his feathers and stuff, often alone away from his flock, but it's okay if he likes it. And the last one Harvey (full name: Harvey Dent) Like Rachel and Joker I named him after character from dark knight and that name was perfect for him. Just like Harvey from the movie, he was realy nice and stuff, but now he is realy not nice to chickens. He always gets in fights with them, but chickens just run away not feeling like fighting. I love all my ducks the same and they are all happy. I'm going to get 2/3 swedish ducks in the future, but now there are my fluffy buns.
And last but not least, my chickens. It's realy big flock of 8 hens, and it's hard to describe them all, but they are realy sweet, and i love them. Their names are: Bun, Sweetie, Cherry, Pearl, Mary, Katie, Anne and Dixie. I'm planning to add Polish hen and rooster to the flock soon tho
