Hi everyone!

I got 6 chicks from our local feed store on February 14th. They are 6 weeks old now. I just added two more chicks from a neighbor who also got her chicks from the same feed store on the same day. However, the chicks I just got from her are almost half the size of my chicks. They are not bantam.

My original chicks are buff brahma, black sex link, 3 "rainbows", and what was supposed to be a RIR but is actually looking like a Welsummer.

New chicks are silver laced wyandotte and what is supposed to be a blue laced red wyandotte.

I fed my chicks medicated feed for the first couple weeks. She did not. That is the only thing I know could be making a difference in size. I worry that the new chicks aren't as healthy because there size. Any advice is appreciated.

Chicks 'look' healthy. Any possibility they were underfed?
They look and act healthy. They are eating and drinking fine. And their poops look good. From what I could see of her pics she did have a lot of chicks in a large dog crate so I guess that's a possibility.
