Has anyone converted a smaller metal carport into a chicken shed or shed and run combo? I'm considering it and would love to hear you comments, good or bad about it. Also seeing pictures of what you did would be so helpful. With the space constraints, I'm thinking about a 10 x 15'.
Thank you.

Could you post a picture of yours?

I've seen a couple here over the years.
Can be a handy start for a coop structure, but working with metal would take different skills compared to working with wood for attaching mesh, roosts, etc.

We repurposed an old carport as a run. It was nice, until it wasn't. The carport took sail in the wind (we do have frequent severe winds) and was destroyed. Make sure you attach the carport frame to the ground well. We thought ours was...but found out it wasn't.

Understood. The idea was framing the inside, but the roof and metal legs would give me a starting point, yet also some freedoms, and maybe more bang for the buck.
