Meyer Hatchery French Marans

For those who have purchased French Marans from Meyer, which colors lay the darkest eggs? My local feed store buys from them and has 3 week old. Tempted but don't want to end up with a disappointing regular brown egg layer.

Just go to their site and look at the egg pics they posted for the different varieties...

I'm not impressed by any of them.

Black copper...

Cuckoo...

Golden Cuckoo...

White...

Splash...

Blue Copper...
