This is the first year that I have had mice in the coop - they did run out of the coop when I was cleaning it, but I'm pretty sure they would love to come back!
I have used bounce sheets in my garage to deter mice from the camping supplies, and it worked. So I am going to put some bounce sheets in the coop. I had bought a scrap piece of linoleum for the floor of the coop that I built, and it is over- sized by a couple of inches, so I put the bounce sheets in that "tunnel," which is where I discovered the mice in the coop today. I think this will work, as it certainly worked out in the garage last winter. And I'm hoping the chickens won't discover the bounce sheets, since they are out of sight and under the linoleum.
Any one see any problems with this plan????
