Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

We are home safe. We watched snow most of the morning but it stopped by the time we left in the early afternoon. Dry pavement part of the way, less than half the way I think but I slept through most of the last four hours. We would really have preferred dry pavement all the way so we knew there wasn't black ice but we didn't have trouble. We saw (well, I saw) only one vehicle off the road - a pickup that clearly spun out badly enough to be facing the traffic.

It was wonderful to see all our kids except the youngest and his fiancee who travelled to be with her family. I really like the new almost-fiancee (oldest son's). It helps that she wants chickens and cows as soon as they can get the land. :)

I saw this at Horrocks and thought about you, Dreamz

Lol, Chicago has a good amount of Puertorricans. I can't stand that one. I make my own and freeze it for 6 months at a time. Just peppers, cilantro, culantro, garlic, and onions. Sometimes I use only red peppers to change its color and add some oregano from mc cormick. Tastes good!
We had a good 4 to 6 inches of snow. But Wednesday they say to expect about 9in which about 30-35mi winds. Getting milk in the morning and will be set until Saturday, 😆
No transportation since Nov 18th. Black trail blazer needs another engine and red blazer needs tires. I need a newer truck!
