Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

Here we are, mid-December, "this close" to Christmas and I'm sick as a dog, and unable to complete the projects I'm wanting to do. Worse than that - we unwittingly exposed our special grandson to this awful virus (he was with us when it struck). Poor little bear.

I've been here a couple times, to browse. Thought I'd say "Hey! Hope you are all doing well, keeping warm and enjoying the holiday season." ♡

Merry Christmas, John :D

Here's to some of our members who are gone now - Raz and Opa. Two nicer men you will never see.

I placed the last 3 of my little roosters today, leaving me with 2 good boys. Having hatched 7 roosters (and no pullets!) I never thought they would all find such good homes. They are such attractive, friendly, non aggressive roosters that even when I had 5 that were crowing there was not one single fight.

And the 4 EE pullets I got a few weeks back (thanks Chikin Fairy for setting that up) are settling in well. They are still very shy, but starting to like treats. Today I opened the small door in the fence between the two pens, so hopefully integration will go well and they will all be in the large coop within a week or two.
