Went from getting 1-2 eggs a day since late November, to zero again. Started about a week or two ago now. I know my BR was laying again after molting, but she's decided to take a break again.

My SLW has finally decided to give molting a proper go. She now has no tail, bald spots on her chest, and her thigh and saddle feathers are falling out quickly. She looks rough, and is currently sitting on the roost, refusing to leave. Everyone else look fantastic. Silly bird had to wait until 2025 to get her new coat.

Someone told me she may become more white, anyone here experience that with SLWs?

Got a new boy yesterday from a friend definitely hatching his babies this year. I love his colors. Specially to our girl Goldy who has a terrible personality but she's so pretty lol

He found his place tonight up on the highest roosts with the majority of the girls.

I have a SLW that actually became darker after her first moult, but I'll have to keep an eye on her to see if this is true.
