Set up the brooder today! Using the Big Red Barn from Rent-a-Coop. Testing the heating plate and getting everything ready for newborn Harry Potter chicks.

After a week or so, I’ll move them to a 3-person camping temp in our garage, which has a heat pump for climate control (it’s pretty warm here but the nights can get to the low 50s).

Now going to the farm store to get chick starter and some chick toys!
