Funny I just read this I'm hoping to make her some kinda mask so she can live with the flock and not have to have a whole separate set up as I have limited space lol in my back yard and I'd love to keep her in trying to keep her separate in same brooder as she is in happy alone but she's small and sneaky so will be getting bigger box to keep them in with a divider idk what other chick to put with her as a friend as I sped time with them but need more time to determine which would be the best fit for her a little stressed lol already switched to crumble food and I also sit and guid her to food and water

Can you moisten her eyelids with some warm water, and then try to open her eyes in case they are matted together? Some plain Neosporin or vaseline might also help to soften any secretions. I hope there is an opening there.

There is not I've wiped with warm water saline solution the last three days no slits she has feathers growing looking like eye lids but no slit sadly must be a birth defect
