It's been 3 months, wonders if there were any updates on the situation?
Many of the "activist" types have no common sense and no concept of the effects of their actions. "Free the poor animals" doesn't equate in their minds with "Domesticated animals starve to death" or "get run over by cars." Consequences are meaningless. Faced with the stark reality, they deny it and call it propaganda. "The animals are better off free, their instincts will..." blah, blah, blah.

It's far easier to free an animal than to address the market that makes this a viable and very lucrative business.

You are correct. There was other ways this person/persons could have gone about this.

Yeah, they don’t think and it’s sad.
