Method to exterminate minks that will not harm the family of groundhogs that live under the chicken coop or the chickens?

You're welcome. Minks should go for tuna or sardines.
Also rabbit sized have a hart traps,baited with the same.

A rat trap will not be big enough for a mink, will work for weasels not mink. You would need a small live trap squirrel size or foot trap or body grip trap which both could catch a ground hog.

Ground hogs are vegetarian. Use meat as bait.

Mink, weasels and stouts are all benificial as they are rodent eradicating machines.
Just read some of these other folks here with posts of mice and rat problems! These are very hard to clean up without poison.
I live in harmony with my weasel although I dont see him often.
My coop is lined with 1/4 inch hardware cloth so poultry is safe.


I had a groundhog move into a dirt floor shed once. It was a mess. Giant pile of dirt and sand, hole that caved in and half a workbenches fell into it. No thank you for that extra work.
