MIRACLE WAY TO KILL MITES

Try garlic crushed into something you can feed them , use a dog medication shampoo to ease thier skin and itch add lavender oil or tea tree into corn floor baby powder and dust your birds when dry ....steam I found cleans the coop and eggs in soil for lice ,I believe garlic makes thier blood undesirable, and the mite well it's a case of try the wash and power der, persistence is they key !!! Check with a torch at night around the vent under the tail ,you will know what your dealing with ....with only a half a dozen birds you can pick most mite of in a wash and lice its just stem ( please don't steam your birds ty 😊) it's no fun but rinse repeat until birds are free from pest birds lice ✌️nd mites good luck 😉don't forget garlic kills gut parasites also steam is the most effective way to keep a coop clean from pest infestations, oh lift that lady and steam her bed ,this will help 😉😊
 
DE supposedly works on lice bc it is a sharp crystalline microscopic substance, penetrating the shells of the insects and killing them. When it gets wet it loses that crystalline feature and becomes mush, rendering it totally ineffective. This happens whether you put it in water or the bird ingests it, so don't waste your money. And using it dry - it is a hazard to you and your birds' eyes and lungs. I got some in my eyes once, and take my word, it was a whole lot of no fun.

Both garlic and tea tree is toxic to chickens, please be careful.
