Missing my old buddy

Recently my first ever rooster that I got, Foghorn (Lavender Orpington) passed and I needed to find another rooster to watch over my hens because they were so stressed they wouldn’t even sleep in the coop at night so I put his son Red (Lavender x Buff Orpington) in and it makes me so happy to see him watching over them and taking care of them just like his mean old dad used to do and he looks just like him but red and black. He’s began sleeping in the same spot as Foggy used to and it makes me so happy to see him following in his dad’s footsteps. Here’s some pictures of them
