So, I bought some top quality breeder birds (Wyandotte bantams) from a well known breeder. He won 5th best bird in a show of 10,600 birds at Ohio Nationals last year. The birds I got are offspring of that winning bird. They are great birds and are filling out very nicely. I noticed though that the male is missing the same toe on both feet. The toe isn't completely missing, about half of the toe is gone. I don't believe it's from an injury, as both feet are missing the same section of toe. I'm thinking it may be genetic. What do you guys think?

It very well may be. I would contact the breeder with my concerns if the bird was mine. If I bred him, initially it would be on a very limited basis until I evaluated his chicks.
