Sibling to sibling will produce 25% citron/cream, 25% split for citron/cream, and 50% with no citron/cream dilute gene at all. There is no way to tell the splits from the non-carriers until they are bred. If bred back to the mother, then you have a 50% chance of getting citron/cream and 50% split.
Same percentages work for the mottling.

Can't find much on this thread for silver duckwing pattern, so I'll ask. I have OEGB's. My 2 males are both silver duckwing. Females, I have a silver duckwing, and a few unidentified colors.... suggested ginger red, BBR, of some mix of those.

Will the silver duckwing from the father be dominant? Any guesses on what the offspring would look like?

One of my boys:

And a few of my girls:
(sebrights are no longer in the same pen)

Thank you so much for the info!

Silver base colors are always dominant over red/gold base colors.

here's Copper my hen, what breed of cross breed is she? Her son is a cross between her and a blue splash maran, and looks like a black copper maran. She is clean faced, single comb, and lays light brown eggs. She has the coloration of a Buff Columbian but more black and some white spots.

She is very mixed. I can't pick out a single, primary breed. Probably a mix of mixes. It makes sense that her son would favor the Marans. The extended black is a very dominant gene, as are the feathered legs and white skin. And it makes sense that a mother to son crossing would produce a chick that looks like the mother. That's called line breeding, and how breeders establish new traits/breeds.

We have joined the "club" of mixed breeds. Yay! So far we have one hatched (see pic) and waiting on the other two to make their grand entrance.

Dad is our very chill, and VERY large Buff Orpington, and mom as far as we can tell is one or all of BR/RIR/Lavender EE. The broody is our bada$$ momma BA.

Anyway, looks like the first on in the pic (Gracie according to kiddos) has some lighter colors on her (assuming a hen) head and darker on the lower portions.

Surely those colors will change as time flies by....

First time for us. Funny how the less we mess with the process the better is it goes...

Cheers
