Morning Glory and other poisonous plants

We've been trying to get rid of the Morning Glory for decades. It's impossible to eradicate so it's there for the chickens any time they want it. Maybe they know a secret?

Kudzu is not toxic, chickens will eat the leaves, and it will cover the run in no time 🙂🙂

Our chickens often forage around morning glory.
Kudzu is a fire hazard and can grow 15 inches a day. It is really invasive and some places don’t want it grown at all. You can eat the leaves and roots, which is good, but it also can cause liver problems🤷‍♀️

Do chickens avoid poisonous stuff naturally or no?
Yes, considering what others have said about choices and having enough to eat.
We also - unintentionally - have toxic plants in our yard, Jasmine is one of them. I saw a pullet rip a flower off the vine today and I about had a coronary until I saw her spit it out and walk away.
They really do know what is and isn't good for them. Thank God, or we'd all be in trouble.
