Hubby and I sat down and watched the whole series of planet of the apes.... it was actually quite funny. Another movie we like is "Waterworld"

I saw Waterworld, and yes, it really shoulda flopped.

Major League, Uncle Buck, Lonesome Dove, Awakenings, Cujo, Misery, and Christine. Maybe Pet Semetary. And Grease.

Ooh what a great topic! I love the goofy, silly teeny movies of the 1980s.

I love Overboard. I'll stop the tv flipping any time that one is on. I love towards the end when Goldie Hawn has all the kids cleaned up, minding their manners. The look on Kurt Russell's face is priceless.

I also love John Hughes films, Ruthless People with Danny De Vito and Bette Middler, a Christmas Story...there are tons of good ones.
