Moving my Babies outside!!

I do have a ring leader hahaha shes my baby. Henrietta haha
Well, that is the golden ticket! If she’s chill, the whole fluffy entourage will be too. Just keep an eye out to make sure everyone’s munching and sipping—basic birdy needs and all that.

Now, over here? It’s a sensory circus. There are lizards doing zoomies every few feet, and doves? You literally cannot take a single photo of the property without one photobombing like they own the place. Naturally, the nonstop rustling from every direction was absolutely earth-shattering to chickens who, up until now, lived the bougie life—in a tub in the utility room with occasional living room adventures climbing Mount Human (aka me).

So yeah, I took my sweet time with the transition. But totally worth it! Temps are steady—85 by day, 75 by night, year-round (unless it’s hurricane season, then we throw in a free steam facial).

That said, no overnights in the coop till they hit 7 weeks. Everything’s an adjustment. Plus, I’m currently mid–‘Chicken Coop Makeover: Island Edition.’ Picture HGTV, but with more feathers and fewer OSHA regulations. Fun fact: power tools don’t even faze them anymore. These chicks are hardcore.

I freaking love this hahaha! You sound so fun haha. I have 3 kids and we hatched the 3 that are going outside and they are also definitely used to the extra noise and hustle and bustle. They are currently in the garage where we built the coop and run as well as the garage door etc. They are used to the comings and going all the time hahaha. So are my 4 other little babies!! Now the 3 grown adult hens I got from someone else....they are getting used to it hahahahaha! But they are greatly loved and spoiled all of them!
