Hi, my gold laced orpington started laying two days ago. The problem started well before that but that’s just an age perspective. The last week or so she has been opening her mouth a lot like she’s chocking on something and trying to get it out. I’ve looked in her beak and there is nothing stuck in there. The main problem is that something she dribbles a substance that looks like mucus. She does not have any other issues like a cold and she is eating and drinking fine. What can I do to get rid of this? I’m scared that it might get so bad that she will choke on it.
