Multiple Broodies Question..Oy

I have 2 broodies. The "Broody Coop" I had for the last broody is currently occupied by the month old chicks she hatched. So I built a broody box. It is like a little doghouse with a hinged, shed-type roof. It's "foundation" is made of landscaping timbers. (The lace curtain panel is for shade.) I had both broodies in there, but that didn't work out too well, so I built another one. I estimate that it cost me about $25 to build.

That's really cute, Laura! I like it. I think I found a solution for one extra broody. If I have more than one, I'll still need another solution, so thanks for all the neat suggestions! Dont know why I didnt think of this before. We made a temporary wall that used to fit under the nest boxes of the original coop way back when Lexie and Ivy were babies and were incorporated in with the older girls. We also used it when we got guinea keets. It has a hinged door on one end. The only problem is that we have since added a step-up bleacher-type roost going to those nests and the brackets that previously were used to attach the wall underneath cant be used anymore. BUT, I think we can figure out a way to attach it another way. Here it is with Lexie and Ivy in it a couple of years ago.
