Muscovy? Female or Male?

I finally picked up my loner duck a friend. The lady told me it was a female Muscovy but I could tell she was in a rush and maybe just said that because that's what sex I wanted. When I got home I realized how HUGE I mean almost double my ducks size she was. I'm new to muscovys so I wasn't sure if it was normal or if I somehow got a goose. I'm pretty positive I got a Muscovy and not some sort of goose but there's not many crunucles on his or her face. That makes me think it's a female over a male but the size screams male. Idk maybe this community can help me out and let me know what they think through picture.

The lady messaged me later that day and asked how she or he was doing, and said you'll know if it's a male if it's bigger than your duck (definitely is) -she said I probably have a boy but I can switch it out if I want. Unfortunately it's a two hour round trip drive :/. She also said it's 5 months old- not sure if I trust that either based on the size!

It's definitely a Muscovy, and it looks like it could easily be five months old too, because the caruncles don't look fully grown. But it looks like a drake.
There's one sure way to know: does the duck hiss? If it hisses, it's a drake. Drakes can't make any other sound.

Thanks! Wow that is one big 5month year old!! The sound sounds more like a weird puffing . I'll try to see if I can get a video of it later.

They're almost their full size at 5 months. Males are about 9-15 pounds (4-7 kg), and females are only 5.5 to 7 pounds (2.5-3 kg).

Females do make a puffing/hissing sound, but mostly when they're broody and trying to scare you away.
