Yes I can't wait to watch them grow.........Now I just need your Mandies to hatch those eggs and I can get two of them too.

The bands are just for a few days so I can tell them apart.

Awwww I want Cayugas!!! The only Cayuga I have is 8 years old. They're absolutely adorable!!!!! Congrats!

How cute!!! Something about them is just so irresistable...even more so than other ducklings. LOL.

Your post makes me almost certain the two "mystery black ducks" I picked up last week at TSC (I wasn't planning to get more than 4, but these guys were just TOO neat to pass up!) are Cayugas!!

Looking at photos online; I find the adults to be stunning; I think I may have a new favorite duck breed- and I will be remembering this thread, should I find myself wanting to add to my Cayuga flock next year, I know who to contact!! Won't count on finding such an unusual duck at TSC all the time....only ONE store had them of all the feed stores in the area, no employee even knew what they were, and that particular TSC is 75 miles away from me! I only wish I would have bought a couple more; they're surely gone by now (I will be checking whenever I go back of course!)

My little Cayugas are named Daffy and Ebony....not exactly as creative as I should be, LOL!

Cute, I'm jelous, I really really want some Cayugas lol. I have some pekins and think it would be so cool to have the pure black ducks and the pure white ducks in a flock. Yours are adorable, have fun with them.
