(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to having chickens and have had my chickens for about 3 weeks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 3 hens: Henrietta, Bessie, and Ethel
(3) What breeds do you have?
Henrietta is a Leghorn
Bessie is a Buff Orphington
Ethel is a Rhode Island Red
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Having fresh eggs that came from my very own chickens that I've fed and not used anything extra. I love hearing there little clucks and seeing them run to me at the sound of my voice.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, listening to music, spending time with family
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married, have 2 kids and 3 bonus kids, a MiMi to a beautiful granddaughter. I work in the healthcare as a medical assistant.
