I don't know what is happening. My chick had to have an assisted hatch because it was stuck halfway through the unzipping process. There was no blood in the membrane and the egg yolk sack had been absorbed. My chick has started rolling around the incubator having a sort of seizure almost. Also chirping loudly with it's eyes closed, and curled up in a ball almost like it was still in the egg but stretching out occasionally I don"t know what to do. Someone Please Help!!

It has been about 1 hour. I will try to put a towel in the incubator.
Thanks for your reply :)
I think the towel will help him to get his footing. :fl

Are there other hatched chicks in the bator too? If so make sure they don't trample him.
Is the brooder ready? Do you have a thermometer in the brooder to make sure you don't over heat them?

I have put a towel in the incubator to no avail. It is still rolling around, But then again it has just hatched so hopefully by morning it will have its balance (fingers crossed). There are no other chicks in the bator. i have the brooder ready with two chicks already in the brooder and it is set to the right temperature :)

I'd leave him be for now... hopefully by morning he finds his feet.
