Hello Maxi01! Sorry to see your chicken suffering this! Definitely start vitamin/mineral supplement or tonic treatments, now. I would treat the foot a couple times a day by cleaning it and applying topical medications. I like natural as much as possible and if the bird is a layer, no antibiotics orally. Consider removing the bird from the coop and limiting the stress on the foot, while treating. Preventing/treating parasite or bacterial infestations of the wound, while supporting the healthy intake of Vitamins and minerals, is all I would do. The curled toes should correct in a several weeks or eat the bird if it is crippled and suffering bad effects from that. Good luck and best wishes!

thank you for the advice but what vitamins and treatments do I use for the chicken?

Welcome to BYC. Can you post a picture of the chicken? How old is he? Was he vaccinated for Mareks disease? His symptoms could be from a vitamin deficiency, a head injury, or from something like Mareks disease. Make sure that he is drinking water, since dehydration could also be a problem. I would get some human vitamin B complex from your vitamin section at stores, and give him 1/4 tablet daily crushed into a spoonful of water or some food. The riboflavin in B complex cannhelp if the curled under toes are due to a riboflavin deficiency.

How cold has it been there? Frostbite or a crush injury could have caused the toe injury. I would just soak it in some soapy water for 15 minutes and watch it. Plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic are good to apply.
he is a rooster never vaccinated and was in a fight and things went down hill once I found him bloody in a corner it seems to be his toe nail was ripped off in a fight and that could let Bactria get inside and cause a staff infection He was born this spring to my knowledge and I have water for him and hand give him water

Oh That doesn’t look great. What I did for one of my chicks that had curled feet was
I spread the food out like a normal foot, I took some pinters tape and took one 2 in long peice, cut it in half, snadwitch the foot and cut the tape around the foot. They kind of look like duck feet. I left it on until the chick was walking normaly. Can I see a pic of how he stands?
He was born this spring (2020) and when he stands he is very off balance trying to use his wings to balance he has trouble standing up straight
