My chicken is limping and cant walk after hurting her leg but we dont know what to do or what it is

My chicken is a 2 year old rhode island red, shes always been the smallest of the flock and recently we noticed she hasnt been walking. We found an injury on her leg. Its not appearing to improve. Please help, im attaching an image of her leg.

It looks bruised. Do her toes work, will they grasp your finger? She may have gotten it hung up on fence or wire and yanked it trying to get loose. I would crate her with her own food and water to let it rest. You can use a chicken sling for periods to keep her upright and make it easier for her to eat, drink and poop, examples below. You do need to supervise in the sling so she doesn't freak out and hurt herself trying to get out of it. You can also use rolled up bath towels around her when she's out of the sling if that helps keep her more upright and comfortable. I would also use puppy pads or clean towels under her in the crate so you can keep it clean. If it's a sprain or strain then it may take some time for it to improve, healing times can vary a lot, sometimes weeks to months. If it's fractured and you can feel movement then you may need to splint, I will attach a splinting manual also, tells how to examine and splint.
