My girl keeps climbing on me and pecking at my hair... Is she trying to groom me or something? She gets lonely since her sister passed so she does want a lot of attention from me but is there a reason she pecks my hair? She's always no matter where... Wanting to fly on my shoulders or hesd and do that

She is preening you. You are now her flock mate. Some folks really enjoy that sort of thing. I suggest getting her a couple of new friends to form a flock with. Just remember, she will then be the "odd man out/newcomer" if you purchase multiples that already know each other. So allow them to acclimate with each other before putting them all together.

As a chicken owner, it’s an honor to be groomed by a chickie on your shoulder!

You should get silkies if you want pet birds and not layers. They're also really friendly with other chickens specially new ones.
I disagree with this , silkies are friendly and they are layers, mine lay every 2-3 days. But they can be bullied and get hurt we have our silkies alone.

Now on the topic, I don’t let them on my shoulders they are entirely too close to my eyes, nope I am not a chicken

Just my opinion. I completely understand that. :D
I love snuggling with my girls it's just that she has poultry lice right now and until I get rid of it lol she doesn't get to do that. I've noticed some people on the site always say things like. "Chickens won't make you apart of the flock, they are mindless and have no emotion or attachment." Or things of the sort... But then you start to wonder why your chicken follows you everywhere you go and Chases you around the yard if she doesn't love you lol
