Hello. I got this chicken from a friend a few months back and her feet have always looked like this. I'm not sure what it is because I've dealt with bumblefoot before with one of my other chickens this doesn't have any scabs and it's like swollen at the joints in her toes? I've tried googling and such but can't find anyone with similar looking feet. Sorry Her feet have a little dirt on them.

She will be 3 around June/July.
Not real old, but old enough to have some enlarged joints especially if she's jumping off higher roosts, or even roosting on uncomfortable boards. As long as the joints don't feel like there's fluid in them I wouldn't worry about them. I've never had a chicken with bumblefoot, but I have seen arthritic feet, and deformed feet from poor breeding or poor nutrition while younger. They do fine in most cases. Offering low, wide roosts can help.

They just feel hard. No fluid. I will talk to my husband about lowering our roots thank you so much for your knowledge ♥️
