I planted daikon radish and mustard greens over my whole garden about 6 weeks ago. It's lush and beautiful in some spots, and small and pale in some spots. What amendments could I apply this fall/winter for a healthy spring garden?
The thriving spots are where I buried dead chickens (ha! It's helpful!) and along the perimeter where usually nothing grows. I put a layer of compost on and tilled it in lightly before seeding the cover crop.
I'm also spraying zinc and copper every few weeks because my onions were deformed and I've had a fungus on the tomatoes. Goodness. What to do?
