Okay, as the title goes: my hen, Latias, seems to relax a lot when I turn on the radio and play music for her while I do my own things. Literally, I just watched her hunker down while the song "Treat You Better" played and her tail feathers lifted up once she was comfortable.
The question I have is pretty simple, but is this normal? Do chickens like music? Or is this a side effect from my singing to her and her siblings as chicks to get them to relax??
...Also, as an off-topic, but important question, does anyone else's disabled hens still lay or get broody? I ask mostly out of curiosity and to make sure I keep my eyes on her for any signs of laying. She's only down a leg (and eventually three toes), but still.
