When bringing my 7 month old Khaki Campbell in from outside (my ducks spend the whole day outside in the backyard and sleep in a pen in the basement at night) we noticed that the webbing between his toes were completely gone!

I have no idea what caused this or what I should do to help him! 😢 I'm not sure if an animal, or bugs, maybe, did this, or if it's a disease that he may have caught... But I'm hoping someone, anyone, out there may have encountered this before and can help me out!! I have no clue if he's in pain, which I'm sure he is, or if he can go on living abnormal life like this, or if I should take him to a vet... Please help! Any bit of information is helpful! I really couldn't find anything on line about this, only things about torn webbing; which is definitely not the case here!! Thank you in advance for any advice or help!

Is it bleeding? That’s so weird!

Something like rats may have chewed it off, or if you live in a warm region, it could have been fire ants. You can apply an antibacterial ointment or silver sulfadiazine cream to the area, but I don't think a vet trip would be needed in this case. It may affect the way he swims, but it shouldn't interfere with his daily activities too much.
