I guess that's the difference. I spend a lot of time with them but not tons. I wish I had more time to do that because I would love my birds to love me like that!

Yes I have more time than a lot of others do. I leave the house maybe once a week to go grocery shopping and that's it. I don't really have what I'd call friends. Just my family and parents, siblings... Lol I'm a hermit

I would make a good hermit lol. I love being at home because I don't really have friends either really so I get that. Birds are friends!!!

Love my americauna/EE she is just the cutest i don't know what her color would be considered though i have tried to add pictures. She has the cutest little spots!!!

Oh man I want to be a hermit! I am jealous, my EE's are complete spastic psychos that think I am the big bad chicken monster. My Brahmas are pretty tolerant of me though!

I have an EE that has warmed up to me a lot. I think her using me for shade really sealed that, lol. One day she got out of the brooder and ran to me. Now she even perches on the edge and allows me to pick her up. I hope I can earn the others trust by proxy. She's actually the white/black one in my avatar.

The EE i had from my original flock, Wormy, didn't really warm up to people until she was the only original left. This is probably after all the others were gone we focused alot more time with her. Sadly she passed due to cocci which the new flock had brought with her. I was ecstatic the next day when we discovered a clutch of 8 bright blue eggs. We incubated then, hatching out 4!!!
