My girl Mildred - ninja duck

This is Mildred (My Bumblefoot Queen). She has developed many talents since we started the Bumblefoot trek on January 7th. She is excellent at evading human capture, 'painting' the walls of sick bay (I swear she aims), and biting. She also carries on quite good conversations with humans....and lays on your lap for treatment like a trooper. Yes, she bites me the whole time, but I would too if I were her. The more time I spend treating her, the more attached to her I get.

Note: this pic was taken this morning when I first opened her kennel and she tried to dart out. (Pre-morning cleaning)! It's messy in the pic, but gets cleaned out morning and night. I had to share the pic.

She is so pretty i can see why you would be in love.

Agreed. Stayed up all night one time with a 6 week old duckling sleeping in my lap to make sure he was going to make it threw the night.

I can totally agree with that my duckling gets so much attention from me and I have been babying the crap out of her since I think she is sick. You never know how much you can love something so little until you see and hold them. My ducklings totally stole my heart.

Mildred got some R&R away from sick bay this afternoon. With her buddies not too far off looking on.



She even got dinner "out"!
