My goose lost her mate

My female goose lost her mate about a week ago at first she was swimming eating and drinking but now she just sits and refuses to eat or drink she is starting to get weak I brought her inside because I live in Ohio and the temperatures are at freezing can anyone give me advice on what to do for her? She is a American Buff.

I suspect there is something else going on. Do you have a vet in your area that will see her for a check up? I'd have her checked for parasites and a blood test.
