Hello everyone! I just joined BYC and I'm so excited to meet you all and your chickens!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I've had chickens my entire life!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have about 21 right now, unfortunately a few got picked off by disease...
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have a mixed flock with Wyandottes, RIRs, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Buff Orpingtons and a few hybrids and such.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love their fun little personalities and quirks! They're just very fun to hang out with, and they pay their rent in eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like sketching, reading, and making music.
(6) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've known about BYC for about two years now, and I've been looking on it for help whenever my chickens get sick or just for some tips on bird care. I've decided to join to offer my help with everyone else's flocks!
