We have red warnings for storm forecasted tomorrow.

First I was a bit unsure what to do, but the last time I tried to prep the run for them I ended up stressing them more and they hurt themselves - so I'm just going to trust them to find their shelter and keep themselves safe.
The hotel will be fully staffed all day so we will be on site if it gets out of hand. <3

As expected the birds were not bothered in the slightest with the weather.
We had trees falling down, cars swaying off the roads, trains and buses cancelled, shops and schools closed, windows exploding... and they were just bopping around doing bird things most of the day. 😅

I was delighted to see some of the robins and sparrows also taking shelter in the run.

So I have this quartette of yellow golden pheasants that I hatched out this year. they are now almost thirteen weeks old and have been VERY well documented since they hatched, so I thought I'd start a thread for them outside of the ones I've started for different problems (sexing and feather plucking).
They are just the sweetest things ever, I absolutely did not expect the level of the bond I would have with these little birds.

Still not completely cinfident about what sex they are, but here are Dandelion, Daffodil, Primrose and Buttercup. 🌼
I hatched them in the bedroom of my flat and they spent their first weeks there, but are presently residing at my place of work - a hotel where the guests can enjoy them too. we also have chickens, ducks and alpacas at the hotel, though in a different area. 🙂
