Is it outside or inside the enclosure? BTW, you need to do something about those gaps around the bottom of the enclosure! Predators can dig under that in quick chilly minute!
It is inside. The little ones can get trough the netting. Is it outside or inside the enclosure? BTW, you need to do something about those gaps around the bottom of the enclosure! Predators can dig under that in quick chilly minute!
OK, just checking, I'd hate for you to lose those birds! It is inside. The little ones can get trough the netting.
And there are no gaps, the wire is dug down a good bit into the ground it is just really hard to see. The main coop also has a concrete floor.
Thank you, I know! <3OK, just checking, I'd hate for you to lose those birds!
Rats are another thing to watch out for....they can get through the tiniest space. That's why I was asking about your visitor because if it's small enough to get in and out, then other small predators can too, like rats!Thank you, I know! <3
We had a visitor down by the chickens earlier in the year, but the gap they got in through was obvious. It was absolutely awful though. After that we made sure to reinforce the net under ground.
We don't have a huge poblem with predators here i the UK, thank goodness. Worst would be the fox or the stout. This will absolutely keep the fox out.
True. Rats could absolutely make it in. We have never had trouble before though and with the birds sleeping up high I do hope they are safe.Rats are another thing to watch out for....they can get through the tiniest space.
